STEP INTO A HIGH-IMPACT CATEGORY ROLE – MATERNITY COVER (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

Are you ready to help shape the future of one of the UK’s top grocery accounts? We’re looking for a commercially savvy Category Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. This is your chance to lead the category agenda for a top 4 retailer, using data, insight, and creativity to drive growth for both SC Johnson and our retail partners.
You’ll be the go-to expert on everything that influences the shopper journey—both in-store and online—while collaborating closely with our internal Sales and Marketing teams to deliver strategies that win on shelf and in the basket.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Use data and insight to influence retailers’ selections on range, promo, merchandising aisle layout, and purchase drivers.
  • Develop category relationships that ensure the SC Johnson team is seen as the preferred supplier to trust with category data and projects.
  • Take market, consumer & shopper insights understanding and to share within the Category Management team and to the wider Commercial team.
  • Actively spend time with the Retailer contacts. Developing and presenting growth opportunities to shape key category reviews.
  • Internally, work with the Account Manager and Customer Marketing in the development of activity compelling trade narratives which supports the customer and brand business objectives.
