Responsibilities

As UK Category Manager, you’ll build strong relationships with leading manufacturers and authorised distributors. You’ll take the lead in driving manufacturer growth and achieving key targets, while also managing the complete sales and purchasing cycle for high volume accounts.

  • Daily monitoring of product shortages and ensuring product availability
  • Definition and procurement of commercial product lines of our core vendors according to relevance and competitiveness for our business
  • Negotiation of purchase prices at distribution and manufacturer level
  • Platform-dependent setting & calculation of selling price
  • Cross-brand planning and handling of project requests
  • Fortnightly definition of promotional products
  • Recommendations, forecasts and planning in respect to relevant manufacturers and distributors
  • Actively participate in team meetings and planning sessions to align and execute category strategies with overall business objectives
  • Management of high volume accounts by managing the complete sales and purchasing cycle
