THE OPPORTUNITY

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Category Manager to join our Finance team based in Pyrmont 2009. As the Category Manager you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders in a range of categories to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes.
In this fast paced, diverse role you will provide guidance across core areas, including; procurement expertise, project management, strategic thinking and category management knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and lead category management related projects.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of category management plans and strategies to deliver value for money and meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
• Consistently complete robust category management across Veolia’s preferred supplier agreements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies and identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, supplier performance enhancements and business objectives
• Provide governance, advice and guidance to internal stakeholders to build expertise in procurement and procurement categories across the organisation
• Provide the Procurement Operations Manager with accurate compliance reporting
