CATEGORY MANAGER

We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Indirect Procurement Team in VR Group, main focus on Protective Clothing, Work Wear, Tools & Chemicals, Car Leasing.
If you drive for Supply Chain topics and you have experience from Procurement, Category, Sourcing Supply chain topics and you are ready to take ownership, you might be the best fit.
The location for this position is at VR Group presence Helsinki, Tampere, (hybrid).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCES:

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of Work Wear, Protective Clothing, tools & chemicals, Car Leasing.
• Ability to identify and leverage business opportunities and drive projects successfully to achieve cost savings.
• Proficiency in analyzing and evaluating large datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Agility to work in a changing environment.
• Resilience and capability to manage pressure effectively.

• Fluency in Finnish and good knowledge of English (oral and written)

  Required education and experience

• A suitable degree (for example commercial or technical)

• Procurement experience over 5 years
