Job Description Responsible for managing a specific category (e.g., Dog or Cat) within a designated country or cluster. The focus is on driving topline growth (Net Sales) and bottom-line performance (CM1), through flawless execution and steering of Campaign & Promotion, Pricing and Shelf-optimization activities. Key tasks and responsibilities: Strategy: Provide strategic input to Category Leads / Cluster Leads during drafting of the annual category strategy and support in operationalizing defined actions during BAU. Collaborate with key central teams / departments (e.g., VM, Marketing, Pricing, CRM) to foster flawless execution of strategies and actions, aligned with the Category Lead, while considering local market category input. Continuously analyze Input and Output KPIs for the category / country (e.g., AOV, EUR/KG, KG/ Order) across various granularity levels (e.g., Customer Cohorts, Physical Products etc.) and consciously leverage learning to steer actions in alignment with the goals. Actively drive and track visibility of Own Brands within Category Shelves and the broader Shop, and launch appropriate actions to support acquisition, migration and retention efforts. Pricing: Track and understand Pricing dynamics for their category bestsellers and recommend adjustments of local prices at brand/product level, from defined global pricing strategy. Special focus on OBF, by defining the right sources of business. Promotions: Create a full-year promo plan accounting for category dynamics, aligning with BU growth ambitions and outlining minimum support needed from Supplier Brands across key promo events. Align local actions with central promotions team (complementary to global central campaign calendar) and Category Lead / Cluster Lead. Actively monitor campaign / promo performance and track budget spend vs. local plan. Run topical/brand/product promotions on short notice depending on business need. Shelf management: Perform Walk-the-store actions at category and bestseller level, provide inputs for continuous Shop Operations QA, and drive optimization alongside Shop Operations. Contribute to the business strategy and requirements to the Product team, for product sorting in PLP and search results, in coordination with the rest of Category Managers (through SME). Contribute to the business strategy and requirements to the Product team, for Up-selling and Cross-selling through the product recommendation boxes, in coordination with the rest of Category Managers (through SME). Special focus on OBF visibility. Collaboration with Graphics and Shop OPS teams for category-related banners. Provide inputs for a continuous QA process to Shop Operations and signs-off (if needed) any adjustment in the category content. KPIs: Revenue (Net Sales) and margin (CM1) of the category, brands and products Share of wallet in the category (AOF, AOV, Volume) Inactivity Rates and migration from Order 1-3 within category Own Brand Share Promo Spend and efficiency Availability and OOS of key brands / products (in collaboration with VM) Traffic and Conversion (in collaboration with central teams) Qualifications Relevant experience in a similar FMCG / e-Commerce environment, ideally within pet sector Strong commercial and technical skills, with deep understanding of the different core business functions and how they work together Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the proven ability to influence at all business levels Ability to understand customer needs and market requirements Proficiency in English and Native level of Danish Langugage Hard working, with a hands-on, results-focused approach High analytical and numerical competency Additional Information With more than 1,000 passionate professionals located across 6 European offices, we believe our success comes from working together and leveraging our international strengths.
