About the role The purpose of the Category Procurement Lead IT role is to initiate, draft, validate, sign off, implement, and execute procurement strategies for various IT commodities across Europe, supporting all pillars of DP World. This role requires ownership of results and the ability to build strong relationships with the supply base to achieve best-in-class outcomes in cost, technology, and quality. How You Will Contribute Serve as the IT procurement expert across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with business needs. Develop and execute sourcing strategies in line with category goals. Lead cross-functional teams for category reviews and strategic planning. Manage IT procurement projects, tenders, and supplier base updates. Oversee contracts and supplier relationships within the IT category. Coordinate with Global Procurement on future initiatives. Establish clear processes between IT and Procurement (e.g., RACI). Identify opportunities for cost reduction, innovation, and standardization. Conduct supplier assessments and support continuous improvement. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; CIPS/NEVI certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in IT procurement or category management. Strong strategic/tactical sourcing and negotiation capabilities. Experience with IT services procurement and phased rollouts across Europe. Knowledge of IT infrastructure supply chains and market players. Ability to assess contracts from both commercial and legal angles. Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Experience in multicultural and international environments. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Willingness to travel up to 15% within Europe. #LI-SD2
