We offer you an exciting position as purchaser within Procurement organization of Ingka. With our sourcing and tendering process, you will be given the opportunity to improve and develop construction and fit out areas, to bring innovation through partnering with suppliers, and to meet Ingka development needs in a cost-efficient way with sustainability built in from the start.
We are looking for a Category Purchaser for our construction operations in Finland.
You are comfortable navigating and leading in the unknown, and in an international business environment. You have the capability to communicate clearly, influence the decisions and secure the deployment of business cases. You are confident to work both individually and in a team.

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE:

• Good knowledge in strategic procurement practices and related processes conditions and/or good knowledge of cost drivers and the value chain within construction business.
• Knowledge in standard conditions and regulations of the construction industry in Finland.
• Experience of supplier management and supplier development.
• Very good negotiation skills.
• Excellent Finnish and English language skills, both spoken & written
  It is an advantage to have knowledge and experience of SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA.
  We believe that you learn fast, and you have the desire to learn more and grow within the area of Construction Purchasing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will be as follows:
✔ Be responsible for construction procurement activities in Finland
✔ Work with a various form of construction and installation projects

✔ Be responsible for:

• Support project preparation from commercial perspective
• Supplier selection and pre-qualification
• Tendering and negotiation construction and fit out services, materials, and equipment
• Contracting and follow up

✔ Through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the plans and achieving the goals within the Category Construction and Fit Out, Category Area Real Estate
✔ Take fully responsibility for following and securing a compliant purchase process for Ingka Procurement organization
✔ Build long term partnerships with suppliers
✔ Build trusted relationships through IKEA way of doing business, secure compliance of IWAY and Code of Conduct
You will report to Sourcing Manager, Atanas Stamov. This role is based in IKEA Service Office in Espoo.
