Reporting to the Retail Buying Director, you will manage the end-to-end product development and buying process for your assigned category, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Buying Own and develop a retail category within the buying function. Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with Merchandise Planning on buy plans and intake dates. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations through robust testing and auditing. Maintain accurate product hierarchy for reporting and categorization. Financial Management Monitor category budgets, open-to-buy, and GP margins. Analyze sales and stock reports to optimize performance. Work with Inventory and Planning teams to clear slow-moving stock. Strategic Planning Identify growth opportunities and market trends. Support events, activations, and Annual Pass initiatives. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with IP holders and internal teams to align product offerings. Ensure effective communication and follow-up with all stakeholders. Team Leadership Mentor and develop direct reports. Foster a collaborative and proactive team culture. Qualifications & Experience Essential: High school diploma or equivalent. 7–10 years of experience in retail buying and product development. Strong decision-making, analytical, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in English and MS Office tools. Knowledge of budgeting, P&L, and inventory systems. Desirable: University degree. 12+ years of experience, preferably in theme parks or attractions. Experience with licensed brands/IP and GCC markets. Additional language skills are a plus.
