Responsibilities

Working as part of a highly innovative and collaborative team, the Category, Space & Range Analyst - Fresh supports the end to end creation of tailored merchandising strategies while understanding the impact on range. Using our innovative Freshest Flow tool, you’ll manage and govern optimisation logic and use data to maximise commercial opportunities.

  • Solve to ensure optimisation on store-level opportunities, using thorough root cause analysis to identify issues and data analysis tools like SQL and Freshest Flow
  • Acting as a key user of our Freshest Flow tool to govern optimisation logic, ensuring store-specific space to lead the merchandising vision and strategy for categories
  • Co-creation with key strategic partners across commercial and Merchandising & Customer Value (ie: Macro, Category Development) to deliver against our key strategic priorities
  • Partnering with the Merchandising Optimisation teams to leverage technology within space optimisation, specifically through Planogram Generator
  • Providing key analysis for strategic projects and categories that aims to improve customer shopping experience and store operational productivity
  • Using available data, demonstrating strong analytical rigour, to identify opportunities and provide meaningful recommendations to our buying partners that will improve our customer experiences and commercial strategy
