We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various Corporate Services business initiatives. Reporting to Senior Category Manager, Category Specialist is accountable for developing supply chain category management strategies and solutions for various operational spend categories (materials and services) to leverage Graham spend and reduce risks. While focusing on the requirements of internal stakeholders, the incumbent delivers a better value supply chain by embedding category strategies into projects, ensuring supply chain solutions are delivered through an alignment of operational procurement requirements and category management principles. The incumbent delivers and manages Master Services Agreements (MSAs) for materials and services provided to various business units, ensuring financial savings and performance improvements through a strategic approach to supply chain management. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or technical field
  • SCMP designation or pursuit of SCMP is an asset
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain with exposure to Strategic Sourcing and/or Category Management
  • Ability to independently conduct RFx events, including but not limited to RFx drafting and issuance, supplier selection and evaluation, and contract award recommendation
  • Knowledge of tender and contract procurement practices and processes
  • Ability to independently draft contracts/amending agreements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to address internal client concerns in a timely manner
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight and demanding deadlines
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Power BI. Advanced Excel knowledge. SAP knowledge is a plus
