CATERING & EVENTS COORDINATOR (APPROX. 30HRS/WEEK)

Marco Polo Kitchen | Daytime Hours | Café + Catering Role
We’re looking for a confident, organised, and people-focused Catering & Events Coordinator to join our team - someone who can manage catering enquiries, quotes, and schedules while being happy to roll up their sleeves and jump in wherever needed.
This is a hands-on, varied role based at our busy inner-city café. You’ll be the face of our catering and events arm, managing client communications, preparing quotes and invoices in Xero, coordinating with chefs, and supporting the operations team during quieter moments. You’ll also help with tea/coffee setups and occasional catering deliveries - no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Managing catering enquiries and bookings
  • Monitoring multiple email accounts and responding promptly
  • Preparing quotes and invoices using Xero
  • Creating clear and concise run sheets to eliminate errors
  • Liaising with chefs for menus and special requests
  • Scheduling catering drivers and coordinating event logistics
  • Setting up tea/coffee stations and grazing tables - with a love for aesthetically beautiful displays
  • Assisting with deliveries when needed
  • Supporting the café and operations team where required
