SUMMARY

As the Catering and Events Sales - Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the successful planning and execution of catered events. You will serve as the primary liaison between the client and our culinary and operations teams, ensuring every event meets our high standards and exceeds expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in catering sales, hospitality, or event planning
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and attending industry events
  • Respond to and manage inbound event inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct site visits, tastings, and client meetings to secure contracts
  • Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and event plans
  • Coordinate with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Assist with research of convention calendar, corporate clients and marketing to third party planners.
  • Assist with input on advertising and marketing plan and social media.
  • Help to maintain strong relationships with industry planners, associations and vendors.
  • Support the directives of the Director of Sales at all times and create an atmosphere in the Sales Department which is encouraging and motivating.
