CATERING ASSISTANT | ADELAIDE

We are looking for a Catering Assistant with flair and creativity and a willingness to work in a professional team environment.

Responsibilities

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • Relevant experience in catering environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 5.30am-8.30am

    Our staff are the face of TWG Hospitality Services and play a pivotal role in delivering the services commitment we have made to our clients.

TWG Hospitality Services are engaged by our clients to provide strong customer service to our client through the management of their tea points and consumables. The following tasks provide an overview of the role:

  • Start-up / close-down coffee machines following correct procedures and prior to time required
  • Top up milk for coffee machines and provide to back up fridge ensuring dates are current and stock is rotated
  • Top up consumables within each tea point (exchange) meeting required timeframes
  • Ensure the exchange area is clean, free from dust, food waste and litter
  • Providing out of service signage to clearly inform users of a fault
  • Deliver all required products
  • Provide ordering requirements for building and to ensure supply of consumables is maintained
  • Report faults with coffee machine or water taps
  • Clean and sanitise consumables storage containers on a weekly basis
  • Complete the ordering, delivery and storage of the tea point items
  • Organise catering requirements for the client.
  • Follow the food safety and safety requirements of the organisation
