We are looking for a friendly, confident and self-motivated Catering Assistant / Sandwich Van Sales Assistant to join Venzi’s.
Your focus will be to assist in the morning food preparation and to maintain Sandwich Van route, ensuring displays are loaded and maintained to a high standard, and to build and maintain good relationships with our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Any previous catering experience would be an advantage, but not necessary as full training will be provided
· Full clean driving licence
· Comfortable driving, reversing and manoeuvring at customer sites, and good sense of direction
· Able to provide a high level of customer service
· Confident with technology (phone apps and Bluetooth)
· Comfortable in cash handling
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.80 per hour

Responsibilities

· Prepare sandwiches, rolls, baguettes, salads and wraps ensuring the food storage and preparation areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
· Deliver lunches to our customer on an set route providing excellent customer service and maintaining a good relationship with customers
· Ensure that all customer sales are appropriately recorded in the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system
· Load sandwich van displays and monitor the stock on the sandwich van
· Follow all food hygiene, security and safety procedures
Hours are from 6:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break.
