ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A proactive team player, but also confident working independently
  • Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
  • Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Experience in a catering environment and knowledge of food safety is desirable, but don’t worry if you’re new to this full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a permanent, part-time position, offering either 21 or 27 hours per week. You’ll work on a set rota that includes alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help deliver our catering service by:

  • Assisting with the transportation and delivery of meals from the kitchen
  • Supporting food and drink service to residents and visitors
  • Setting up and cleaning dining areas and kitchen spaces
  • Ensuring crockery, cutlery, and utensils are clean and ready for each meal
  • Communicating effectively with care staff, residents, and visitors

Your contribution will help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment.
