SALARY: £24,027 PER ANNUM

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School.
This is a Grade 2, permanent post working 20 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET day. The starting salary is £11,809 and the full time equivalent is £24,027.
Main purpose of the job:
To work as part of the Team and contribute to the achievement of its objectives, providing an effective and efficient catering service. This includes preparing and serving food, maintaining the associated catering areas in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
The post holder will report to the School Catering Manager and work closely with catering team members and lunchtime organisers.

We’re looking for:

  • Someone to assist with the preparation, setting up and serving of meals in line with food hygiene regulations
  • Someone to provide a customer focused service which is courteous and responsive and meets the needs of customers at all times.
  • In this role, the post holder will be expected to undertake duties within the kitchen that may be considered appropriate by the School Catering Manager in line with the needs of service.
