We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated person to join the Catering Team. Your role will be to assist in all areas of the Civic Cafe to achieve the required standards, including food preparation, serving appetising meals and drinks to staff, officers and councillors, cleaning down the kitchen and its equipment, operating the till and having some knowledge of Food Safety Regulations.
As the successful candidate you will need good communication skills, be able to show initiative, be an excellent team player, and have high standards of hygiene. You will be required to have the ability and confidence to work and thrive in a busy environment.

You will need to:

  • Observe and comply with Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Undertake any training considered necessary for the post at any location considered suitable by the Catering Manager.
  • Always ensure the safe and correct use of all kitchen equipment.

You will be required to keep full and accurate entries and records in all books/forms in accordance with administrative procedures laid down by the Catering Department.
