JOB TITLE: Catering Assistant
DEPARTMENT/VENUE: RAF Museum Midlands
LOCATION: Airfield Kitchen
REPORTING TO: General Manager
The Airfield Kitchen at the RAF Museum Midlands are looking for part time members of staff to join the team.
The desired applicant will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering good service and good food to the museum visitors. Uniform and training is provided. The position offers staff the opportunity to improve their work/life balance with the venue closed in the evenings and working in a relaxed environment meeting and serving a wide range of museum visitors.
The restaurant is open 10am – 4.30pm and open 7 days a week.

The member of staff will be required to work weekdays and weekends.

• To assist with the setup, service, clearing and cleaning of Event catering as requested
• Serving Customers & Clients
• General Café Duties regarding serving hot and cold drinks
• Cash Handling
• Comply with all Company & client policies, procedures and statutory regulations including human resources, site rules, Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management

Ideals:

• Good communication skills
• Experience in working in a similar industry such as food service, catering or hospitality
• Previous food handling experience
• Strong customer service skills
• High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
