THE ROLE:
· We are offering casual hours as part of our Flexi-based work schedule - meaning shifts are offered to you on our online scheduling app and you can apply for the shifts you are available to work.
· You will assist the catering team on event days, ensuring the delivery of premium service is given to all our customers in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Providing efficient, accurate, and friendly customer service.
· Taking time to learn about your unit’s menu and the event you are working at, so that you can advise customers on everything from the suitability of food choices to allergies, to the location of toilets and water stations; carry out aspects of food preparation to ensure the efficiency of service.
· Cook designated menu items to the required standard, ensuring a regular supply of fresh, tasty, and well-presented food; be fully conversant with all Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
· Support your catering team leader/ unit manager by being flexible and willing to undertake additional duties or responsibilities as required.
· You may also be required to assist with the setting up of catering units, both pre-/post-event.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week
