Facilities and Traded Services provide catering services to schools and academies across Gateshead and its neighbouring authorities. We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work at Front Street Primary School.
In the role of Catering Assistant, you will assist in the preparation of cooking and service of food, snacks and beverages and ensure the thorough cleaning of the kitchen and dining premises. You will assist the Unit Manager and deputise in their absence.
It is essential that you have relevant experience working within a similar position, excellent customer service skills, the ability to work as part of a team, a commitment to high standards, and good communication skills.
