JOB SUMMARY

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team for an exciting 10-week project in Newport. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of catering events, providing exceptional service to guests, and maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. SKILLS

• Previous experience in hospitality or catering is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in food preparation and serving within a restaurant or hotel environment is an advantage.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Culinary experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer service.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during events.
• Set up and dismantle catering equipment as required for various functions.
