Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you’ll assist with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring food is served safely and meets dietary requirements. You’ll also be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, supporting a positive and hygienic environment. Your efforts will contribute to making each day brighter for our residents through nutritious and delicious meals.

  • Contributing to the preparation of a quality meal service
  • Delivering the residents’ meal service
  • Assisting the Chef in all areas of the kitchen
  • Communicating well with co-workers, residents and their families.

You will be able to show you have strong customer service and people skills. You can juggle your time and tasks well and you believe attention to detail matters.

  • Must maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check as per site requirements.
  • Possess skills and experience in cooking/preparing meals, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning and utilisation of commercial kitchen equipment
