We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our team.
As part of this role, you will become a Frozen Food Picker joining our cold storage warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting frozen food products based on customer orders, preparing them for delivery , and ensuring product quality is maintained.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a freezer environment and follows all safety and food handling protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is an advantage
• Comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (PPE provided)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Level 2 Food Safety Qualification is an advantage

• Accurately pick frozen food items from shelves or bins according to pick lists
• Verify product codes, quantities, and expiration dates to ensure order accuracy
• Pack and label orders securely for distribution
• Work in a temperature-controlled fridge / freezer environment
• Maintain proper food safety and hygiene standards in handling products
• Ensure accurate stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out)
• Replenish picking areas as needed and assist with stock counts
• Report damaged or expired products to supervisors
• Follow all health, safety, and warehouse procedures and protocols
