Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for catering events and daily service.
• 
  
• Set up catering areas, buffet stations, meeting rooms, or dining areas before events.
• 
  
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• 
  
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of catering equipment, utensils, and service areas.
• 
  
• Help with packing, transporting, and setting up catering supplies for off-site events if required.
• 
  
• Clear tables and dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.
• 
  
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards according to company and regulatory requirements.
• 
  
• Assist chefs or kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
• 
  
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages or replenishment needs.
• 
  
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests promptly.
• 
  

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• 
  
• High school Diploma / Culinary certification
• 
  
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service is an advantage.
• 
  
• Good verbal & Written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, management and immediate surrounding colleagues.
• 
  
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• 
  
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• 
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the company standards

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Desired Candidate Profile
