  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
  • Experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable).
  • Barista or café service experience (preferred).

Highly desirable: Previous experience in a hospital catering team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional food service to patients and customers. You will:

  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
  • Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of our cooks and chef.
  • Deliver and collect menus, food trays, and beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the department in accordance with the Food Safety Plan and HACCP standards.
  • Support the catering team with stock management and daily operations.
  • Work across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

You will report to the Catering Manager and work alongside a supportive, dedicated team.
