The Trading Assistant is a key part of the WWT Castle Espie, utilising, their skills and hospitality to maximise sales within the cafe; thereby supporting our conservation work.

Your role will be diverse, mainly working within our catering team with scope to work within our retail and admissions team. We will provide training and coaching for all aspects of the role. The majority of your role will include:

• giving a warm welcome to every visitor to the café, demonstrating exceptional standards of customer service
• taking orders, making hot drinks as well as serving our seasonal menu and clearing tables
• helping in the kitchen, preparing food and ensuring you maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times.

This is a seven-day-a-week operation. We work on a schedule which will include regular weekend work. This is a part time role working 15 hours per week.
