Vanilla Blue is an award-winning corporate caterer, providing nourishing meals to clients across Sydney. We are looking for 2 casual Catering Attendants to join our fast-paced and well-organised Partie-based kitchen team.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

• 2 positions available:
• Morning shifts between 4am-10am
• Afternoon shifts between 2pm - 8pm
• $32.50 - $35 per hour + superannuation
• Monday to Friday, generally no weekend work
• 15 - 20 hours per week, depending on the needs of the business
• Section support on sandwich, pastry and cold sections
• Must have own vehicle (public transport will not be operating for 4am start)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Prepare fresh ingredients through basic cutting and food preparation
• Support smooth operations by assisting with labeling, picking, and packing
• Present dishes beautifully, demonstrate a great eye for detail, quality control, and flair for presentation
• Maintain a tidy workspace by readily cleaning and tidying work area
• Multitask and perform effectively within established kitchen systems
• Works independently and accurately, follow instructions with precision
• Contribute positively to the team by being punctual, reliable, and communicating well

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:

• Own transport to start work at 4am if required
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
• Confident working with a diverse group of people with different backgrounds
• Proven experience working in a fast and clean manner
• Current food safety certifications
