Event Bartender Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth & Suffolk, VA $16.00- $18.00 Flexible Schedule Serve Great Drinks. Create Great Experiences. Givens Talent is seeking experienced Event Bartenders to support weddings, corporate events, private parties, banquets, and special events throughout Hampton Roads. We are looking for outgoing professionals who can provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a polished and professional bar operation. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and have a passion for customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for event guests * Set up and organize bar stations before service begins * Maintain a clean, stocked, and professional bar area throughout events * Recommend beverages and answer guest questions regarding drink selections * Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible service practices * Verify legal drinking age in accordance with state regulations * Process cash and credit card transactions when required * Restock beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies * Assist with event setup and breakdown activities * Work closely with event captains, servers, and culinary staff to ensure a successful event Qualifications * Minimum one year of bartending experience * Previous catering, banquet, restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience preferred * Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to remain professional and composed during busy events * Reliable transportation to event locations throughout Hampton Roads Physical Requirements * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods * Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Why Work With Givens Talent? * Weekly pay * Flexible part-time schedule * Opportunity to work a variety of upscale events * Supportive team environment * Consistent event opportunities throughout the year Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour Work Locations: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and surrounding Hampton Roads areas Preferred Availability: Evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
