JOB SUMMARY Seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Part-Time Catering Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating positive experiences for our catering customers by assisting with order preparation, maintaining high standards for product quality, and providing exceptional service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with catering orders, including answering questions, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations. * Order Preparation: Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders in accordance with company standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation. * Food Safety and Quality: Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, product quality, and presentation in the catering department. * Inventory and Restocking: Monitor product levels and help restock supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring the work area is organized and well-stocked. * Team Collaboration: Work with other catering and deli team members to fulfill large or complex orders on time. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records for all catering orders, including order details and special instructions, to ensure a seamless process from order to delivery. * General Support: Assist with other tasks within the catering and deli departments as needed, such as cleaning and organizing workspaces. QUALIFICATIONS * Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred. * Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Availability: Flexible schedule, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
