JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events while ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in catering is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with catering operations and quick service fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen management principles.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in training development to enhance team performance.

SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with logistics/order platforms (EZ Cater, Fooda, Toast)
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with cloud-based tools like Sharepoint

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering orders, including packing orders, kitchen communication, 3rd party correspondence, logistics and delivery.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed for catering events.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service.
  • Utilize Toast POS system for order management and Delivery Programs for delivery tracking
  • Oversee Catering setups, ensuring that all arrangements meet client specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist with invoicing, problem solving and client follow up.
  • Staying on top of email correspondence.
