Wedgewood Weddings & Events is looking for a Catering Driver & Prep Cook to support our culinary team by ensuring seamless food deliveries and assisting with kitchen operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Safely transport prepared food and catering equipment between venues using a company vehicle. * Load, unload, and set up catering items to support seamless wedding and event execution. * Assist with food preparation, plating, and kitchen support to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule. * Execute food service during events while maintaining high standards of guest service and presentation. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures to uphold quality and compliance standards. * Collaborate closely with culinary and event teams to deliver exceptional event experiences. * Support kitchen operations after service, including dishwashing, cleaning, and breakdown duties. * Return the catering vehicle and equipment to the designated location at the end of each shift. Requirements: * A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Must be at least 21 years old. * Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience driving a similar type of commercial vehicle. * Must successfully pass all required background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews. * Ability to lift and transport food and supplies safely. * Experience in food service, catering, or kitchen prep is a plus. * Strong time management skills and attention to detail. * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
