QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 4 -5 years of progressive experience in catering and hospitality, with 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and managing high-profile events or venues.
  • Proven experience in quick service fast food restaurant operations or similar environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a service-oriented team.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge of TimePro, MailChimp (preferred not required)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in event planning and execution.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities

As the Service Director for our catering and hospitality division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of Front of House (FOH) service professionals to deliver exceptional service quality and uphold the Company’s standards.
  • Administer FOH team member training programs as determined by GM.
  • Coordinate with Service/ Banquet Managers to ensure development of FOH team members by upholding performance expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and offering input for regular performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with Service/ Banquet Managers with seasonal recruiting and the overall development of FOH seasonal team.
  • Oversee the execution of catering events from open to closing, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, and superior service delivery.
  • Support service team by addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor performance and service quality and with the guidance of the GM implement improvements to drive guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with various departments, specifically BOH and FOH to ensure seamless coordination for successful events and guest experiences.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and innovation among staff members.
