Who We Are Searching For A positive, polished, and dedicated hospitality professional to join our Catering Division as a Catering Event Lead. In this role, you’ll work with clients and oversee on-site catering teams through event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring every detail exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review and interpret BEOs, checklists, floor plans, and timelines to guide event setup, execution and staff planning.
  • Oversee the full setup and breakdown of service areas, food stations, decor, and third-party items, ensuring alignment with layout, quality standards, and proper packing procedures.
  • Anticipate and manage logistical needs including food delivery timing, staff placement, and setup coordination.
  • Lead and delegate tasks to a team of 5-20 staff, maintaining accountability for service quality, team professionalism, and the care of catering assets.
  • Communicate key event details, menus, and expectations clearly to the team to ensure alignment across all service areas.
  • Act as the professional onsite liaison between SaltBlock, clients, planners, and venue representatives to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Coordinate closely with the Chef Lead to maintain a cohesive flow of service between culinary and front of house teams..
  • Manage the breakdown and packing process at event end, including third-party items and quality checks.
  • Submit timely post-event feedback using digital tools to support continuous improvement.
  • Complete comprehensive onboarding and participate in regular training to uphold SaltBlock standards.
  • Actively cross-train in related roles and take on staff shifts to deepen operational knowledge and leadership capability.
