Reports to the Catering Manager. Creates proposals, contracts, event orders and packages tailored to each guest’s requests Negotiates executive partnerships to sell catering packages for breakfast, lunch, dinner and largescale events Oversees catering events from start to finish: books, plans and executes functions Executes all off-site catering for offices and VIP clients, coordinating delivery services and pickup business Acts as a trainer for team members on catering operations Communicates product and staffing needs for catering events on a daily basis Manages catering call-backs from orders delivered same day to ensure 100% guest satisfaction Handles and resolves complaints/accolades and communicates results to managers Ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked in the store at all times: catering menus, catering table, business cards, etc. Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications 2+ years of experience in catering/sales management Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask in a fluid environment Bachelor’s Degree preferred Job Requirements Availability to work a flexible scheduling often including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
