Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Green Rebel Catering manager manages the day-to-day operations of our catering clients. They are responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing all catering events by facilitating and organizing the catering client’s needs. The catering manager consults with clients for specifications to set up the catering orders. They ensure the needs are followed through by bridging the gap between the client and production team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds in a timely fashion to all catering clients via the catering phone line or email.
  • Upholds the highest level of guest service for Green Rebel’s catering clients.
  • Consults with clients and determines catering options based on the client’s needs to determine event details, including menu, budget, and timeline.
  • Determines and understands client requirements, preferences, and special requests to propose catering options to accurately prepare the required catering forms.
  • Ensures culinary knowledge when providing options to clients from our menu.
  • Maintains strong organizational and responsiveness while speaking with multiple catering clients at a time.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints that arise during events, and problem solves with an attitude of making it right.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with clients, store managers, and production kitchen team.
  • Highly professional when managing all aspects of the catering operations.
  • Manages, plans, organizes, and executes all caterings orders from start to finish.
  • Ensures that the catering services meet quality, safety, and health standards.
  • Responsible for overseeing special events.
  • Consistently coordinates with the Production Kitchen Manager to ensure all client’s needs are met to help ensure the kitchen department has staff support.
  • Proactively follows up with clients to thank guests for their business and compiles feedback with the mentality to improve the catering department’s services.
  • Books and processes all catering requests in the catering software.
  • Send clients quotes, orders, and invoices in a timely and professional manner.
  • Consistently maintains Green Rebel’s customer database.
  • Provides feedback from clients for new catering menu items that have become requested.
  • Occasionally visits catering clients, creating a name to face relationship.
  • Stays up to date with current catering industry trends.
  • Assists the kitchen team as necessary to produce catering food.
  • Actively identifies new potential clients and markets to them.
  • Supports Store Managers with catering delivery organization and supports deliveries when needed.
  • Works periodically at each retail store to assure quality of catering delivers and pickups.
  • Focuses on sales growth through email campaigns, social media, in-store marketing to direct marketing to potential customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring stores are to company standards with catering setups, deliveries, and pick-ups.
  • Communicates and coordinates with HR and DOO for scheduling needs for catering times outside of daily shifts/store hours, including upcoming volumes for kitchen staff needs.
  • Maintains catering equipment inventory lists and ensures stores have equipment needed to fulfill large or small catering orders.
  • Maintains catering software and systems to ensure products and menu items, prices, and product changes are always up to date.
  • Completes quarterly market research on competitors and presents findings to their direct reports.
