Catering Manager - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina
The is looking for their next Catering Manager to join their team.
This hotel offers 595 well-appointed guestrooms and boasts over 37,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including both indoor and outdoor spaces. The highlight of this hotel is the Intracoastal Ballroom, featuring 24-foot-high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide stunning views of the sparkling Intracoastal Waterway.
Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and a background in hotel or catering sales, along with a strong understanding of the local catering and wedding market. They will bring a vibrant personality and the ability to build lasting client relationships while contributing to the hotel’s sales and revenue growth.
Pay Rate: The role is an hourly position
Shift Pattern: The position typically works office hours 8:30am – 5:00pm with flexibility to work all days, weekends and adjust hours based on assigned group conferences and their events on property.

Responsibilities
  • To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.
  • Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person.
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes.
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
  • Selling and influencing both internal and external clients.
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution.
  • Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
