We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager at a primary school in Birmingham (B25 8HQ) . The role includes preparing fresh food in accordance with Coombs Catering standards, ensuring a quality food service is provided at all times. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the school kitchen and also the preparation and delivery of meals. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the business with the support of the team on site, monitoring catering sales, training, cleaning, stock takes and controlling budget, ensuring health & safety procedures are carried out and promoting the catering facilities.

• Preparing quality food items.
• Serving meals by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Supporting the team by keeping refrigerators and storerooms clean and tidy. Ensuring food and supply items are stored correctly.
• Ensuring daily bookwork and temperature records are kept to required standards.
• Managing ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
