As a Catering Operations Coordinator, you will work with the Catering Operations Manager to assist with scheduling and payroll as well as assist at off-site events.

Catering Operations Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of event staff for 20-50 events per week
  • Preparation and review of weekly payroll
  • Actively involved in the recruitment, hiring and training of event staff
  • Provides feedback for the Operations and Sales teams
  • Monitors and follows up on productivity goals
  • Ensure service needs are being met at all events
  • Reviews and adjusts staffing needs based on sales recommendations
  • Provide off site service as Event Supervisor as needed
  • Performs additional operational duties as necessary

Catering Service Coordinator Required Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in a hospitality service administrative position
  • Passionate about people, food and service
  • Individuals that demonstrate time management, organizational skills, authentic customer service, excellent verbal and written communication, and computer proficiency
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff
  • Ability to work with/around all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, overnight and weekend shifts as needed
