We are seeking an experienced, friendly, passionate and organized full-time Catering Operations Manager to join our team. The position will work closely with our Operation Director in the overall management, planning, prep and execution of Marigold Catering Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for personnel management, budgeting, and hospitality, as well as ensuring a safe and memorable experience for guests at all of our events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of experience in food and/or beverage management
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, batching, etc, including large format beverage offerings and kegged beverages
  • Knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all catering operations for on- and off-site banquet and catering services, and our full fleet of mobile bars
  • Work closely with sales and operations management to curate and execute bespoke menus and experiences based on the specific event needs
  • Train and evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and disciplinary action as needed
  • Develop and manage budgets and analyze financial statements, including costing cocktails and programs overall
  • Monitor vendor and supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness; negotiate contracts and resolve disputes with vendors
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for growth and improved effectiveness
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are met; ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
