We’re currently seeking a Catering Sales and Service Manager to join our fast-paced, people-first team. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that blends creativity, sales strategy, event coordination, and leadership.

    We’re looking for someone who can think independently, problem-solve under pressure, and also follow systems and standards that ensure our events run smoothly and clients stay delighted.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence
  • Access to your own vehicle (public transportation is not an option)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Comfortable with physical labour and long shifts when needed
  • Prior experience in catering, events, sales, or hospitality is a strong asset
Responsibilities

Sales & Client Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Prepare customized quotes, proposals, and event packages
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Conduct site visits and manage client communication from inquiry through post-event feedback

Event Coordination & Operations

  • Oversee all phases of event planning, budgeting, and execution
  • Create and manage event specifications (maps, floorplans, menus, logistics)
  • Track inquiries, maintain organized files, and schedule follow-ups
  • Ensure flawless execution of events with a focus on client satisfaction and quality control

Team Leadership & Compliance

  • Foster a respectful and positive work environment for event staff
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, WHMIS, and other regulatory standards
  • Support and enforce provincial liquor regulations during events
  • Hands-On Support (When Needed)

This is a working management role that may occasionally involve:

  • Packing and loading event equipment
  • Assisting with buffet and beverage service
  • Overseeing on-site set-up and teardown
  • General post-event cleanup and organization
