OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Catering to lead our catering operations and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on fine dining and catering experiences. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in using POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient order management.
  • Strong background in quick service restaurant environments.
  • Experience in outside sales
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, cash handling, and financial management within a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent staff training abilities with a focus on training & development for team members.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including shift management and kitchen management practices.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and guests.
  • Experience in banquet operations, casual dining settings, bar services, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
  • Culinary experience is preferred along with supervisory experience in restaurant or catering settings.
