Description JOB SUMMARY As the Catering Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our event success stories. From weddings and banquets to corporate gatherings and celebrations, you’ll partner with clients to bring their vision to life—ensuring every detail reflects HCW’s standard of excellence. This role blends relationship-building, creativity, and operational follow-through to deliver unforgettable experiences that exceed expectations. WHAT YOU'LL DO Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, planners, and vendors to secure new and repeat business. Design and execute detailed catering proposals, contracts, and event orders that reflect the client’s goals and hotel standards. Conduct site visits and client meetings to showcase event spaces and guide planning decisions. Coordinate with banquet, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution from concept to completion. Analyze market trends and proactively pursue new catering opportunities through networking, local partnerships, and lead generation. Manage event budgets, track revenue, and achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Represent the hotel at community and industry events to strengthen brand awareness. Ensure all events align with brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel. WHAT YOU BRING At least 5 years of progressive hospitality leadership experience. Proven track record in catering, event planning, or sales—preferably in a hotel or full-service venue. Strong understanding of banquet operations and event logistics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service and collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Creative problem solver with a passion for designing memorable guest experiences.
