Job Summary: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating and managing catering sales for the hotel. This role involves developing relationships with clients, creating customized catering proposals, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and catering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering sales or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the local market and industry trends and best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve catering sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate, social, and wedding markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors.
  • Create customized catering proposals and menus to meet client needs and preferences.
  • Conduct site visits and tastings with clients to showcase the hotel’s catering capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Collaborate with the hotel’s operations team to ensure the successful execution of events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel’s catering services.
