$20/HOUR + TIPS – PART-TIME, ON-CALL (EVENTS ONLY)

OX Centralia is a locally owned catering company known for delicious paella, fresh flavors, and warm, professional hospitality. We’re looking for a Caterer / Event Server who’s passionate about food, service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
This is a part-time, on-call position — perfect for someone who enjoys flexible scheduling and wants to work high-energy, memorable events rather than a daily restaurant shift.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred — but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work well on a team and remain calm under pressure.
• Physically able to lift trays, move equipment, and be on your feet for long periods.
• Must have a Washington State Food Handler Card before your first shift.
• MAST Permit required if serving alcohol (Class 13 acceptable if under 21).
• Bartending or specialty coffee skills are a plus.

• Arrive on time and ready to work with a professional, positive attitude.
• Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation to meet OX Centralia’s high quality standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service during events.
• Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain a clean service area.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and ingredients.
• Follow all Washington State food safety and alcohol service requirements.
