We’re in need of a Catering Sous Chef to join our growing team. The Catering Sous Chef assists, mentors and trains the catering staff to ensure the proper execution of menus and recipes, supporting the Chef Manager of Catering, Director of Culinary Experience, and all areas of the catering department.
This is a full-time position.
Working with our Chef and other staff members, you’ll prepare meals in accordance with all dietary policies and procedures, will participate in and attend various committees/meetings, representing the catering department, and will meet with vendors and attend food distribution shows to evaluate new food products and equipment. Working with the director of the culinary experience, you’ll develop and maintain regular adults of the kitchen to ensure peak performance and compliance with government regulations. You’ll also be the owner of our Point of Sale and catering software system. A working knowledge of food service sanitation, food handling, and infection prevention best practices is essential.
