JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to grow with our team and take ownership of our Catering Department. We are aware that this is a low base, however this position is set up with a LARGE commission structure based on catering sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, with experience in catering events of various sizes. This role requires excellent guest service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Caterer will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences that exceed our guests’ expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in catering or food service roles, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for clients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Experience in food preparation and presentation techniques is highly desirable.
  • Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute catering events, including menu selection, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Set up and break down catering venues, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and functional.
  • Provide outstanding guest services by engaging with clients and guests to ensure satisfaction throughout the event.
  • Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service timelines.
  • Assist in bartending duties as needed, including preparing beverages and serving drinks responsibly.
  • Manage guest relations effectively by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
  • Work closely with banquet coordinators to ensure seamless execution of events.
