Seeking responsible, motivated individuals to join our Catering Team.
Cantoro Italian Market is an upscale Italian specialty market whose culture is rooted deeply in customer service and providing an exceptional experience to all our guests. Currently we have full and part time positions available in our catering department. Duties include In-store counter work, off-site delivery, merchandising, and telephone etiquette including taking orders by phone. Primary tasks are Catering-related, as well as customer service for the market.
1 year retail / counter experience required. Candidate must be presentable, reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Depending on experience, pay rate can be negotiated.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• All drivers must be 18 years of age
• Need access to reliable transportation.
• Own or be willing to purchase a working cell phone
• Must have good driving record
• Posses a valid drivers license
• Need to be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds to shoulder level
• Follow directions and work well in a team environment

• Make safe and efficient deliveries from Cantoro Market store location to customer locations.
• Make on-time deliveries within a set delivery time window, arrive at the first time and depart by the second time (large orders may require an earlier arrival time).
• Provide friendly service and the highest level of hospitality to our customers, including answering customer questions via the phone, e-mail, and in person.
• Responsible for the buffet set up at the client location according to Cantoro Market standards or customer request when applicable.
• Ensure a high quality and accuracy of the food order using the checklist and observation, starting at the store through the delivery.
• At the store; check and validate the order with the order check list, including any equipment needed, check the cleanliness of the transportation equipment.
• Load all delivery orders, up to 50 pounds, in the delivery vehicle.
• Miscellaneous tasks at the store as needed.
• Cleaning delivery equipment.
• Enter leads into computer system and following up with clients
