Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Salford Royal, Stott Lane, Salford M6 8HD
Shift Pattern: Monday- Sunday 7am-8pm 5 days out of 7 (30 hours per week)
Pay: £13.57 an hour (£17.64 for Saturdays and nights / £21.71 for Sundays and BH)

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Food safety level 2 certificate essential
· experience with food / food hygiene / food safety
· Good communication skills as sometimes patient facing while serving
· NHS experience – desirable but not essential

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

To oversee the smooth running of a busy Catering Dept
Serving customers
Using electronic tills,money handling,cashing up and recording of takings
Supervising Catering staff ,managing staff rotas and holidays.
Help managing sickness reviews and ensure staff complete online mandatory training.
Following strict food safety process, taking temperatures, stock control and related HACCP paperwork.
Flexible approach as may need to change roles at short notice.
