We are looking for a Catering Team Member and Rebel Floater to join our Green Rebel Family!
The position works in the catering department in the morning. You must be available for 4am/5am start times until 11am, Monday through Friday, and open to picking up weekend shifts pending weekend catering orders are needed. Monday and Fridays are subject to on call shifts if catering orders for those days are light.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift 50-pounds (22.7 Kg).
  • Standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As a Catering Team Member, you contribute to an environment that feeds people wholesome real ingredients that make the biggest impact in their lives. You are responsible for setting the tone for the day’s catering orders and takes ownership of the boxed, platters, salads and baked good items section of the catering menu. You also help with catering sandwich builds if needed, set the tone for others, and assist with the day-to-day kitchen tasks that feed into catering and into the Green Rebel locations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks catering invoices the day prior to shift and adjusts start time as needed.
  • Responsible for supporting the execution of all catering orders; including platers, baked goods, sandwiches, and wraps.
  • Reviews the full day of catering orders and plans accordingly to be successful with execution.
  • Has an eye to detail for specific catering customizations.
  • Organized with prep work and baking needs to fulfill catering builds.
  • Bakes catering items and preps ingredients as per catering orders with minimal waste.
  • Able to multitask while maintaining the safety of themselves, others, and the quality of products.
  • Independent in making decisions for prepping ingredient varieties and amounts of items needed.
  • Good time management skills to complete all orders and manage delivery times effectively.
  • Prepares, cuts, and portions ingredients to build standards.
  • Attentive to catering item ingredients to build to standard.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and food safe work environment.
  • Tidies up after their tasks with dishes, garbage, and resets the workspace.
  • Restocks catering supplies and notifies manager when stock is low.
  • Is a team player and helps others as needed.
  • Maintains structure and enforces all catering standards resources are used towards standard builds.
  • Completes daily inventory counts for the Production Kitchen Manager to order appropriately and avoids overhead/wastage.
  • Provides suggestions to their manager to help improve their catering area responsibilities.
  • Assists with weekend orders with building full orders and deliveries.
  • Crossed train in other sections of the catering department to step in when needed.
  • Has good communication with the Production Kitchen Manager & Catering Manager to ensure a successful shift within their catering responsibilities.
  • Understands duties and responsibilities are subject to change, based on the needs of the business.
