Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will have responsibility for the successful operation of the warehouse. A few requirements include - organized & safe storage, maintenance, accurate and on-time delivery and return of event rental inventory. The Catering Warehouse Manager is responsible for running and overseeing those items and services that enable the catering company to generate revenue, including beverages, paper products, and general inventory.
This position doubles as the catering utility staff supervisor who will ensure that all pack list & rental items are loaded and secured for delivery & setup on event site.
This position will also make sure company vehicles are in good working order, clean and up to date with any maintenance or tags.
The duties of the Catering Warehouse Manager can vary widely from managing housekeeping, to managing beverage inventory, to managing an event for 20 or 2,000 guests.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Catering Operations Manager with all aspects of office, warehouse and production
  • Train and work with warehouse staff for daily operation of warehouse
  • TPP Complete knowledge and maintenance of all files and schedules
  • General knowledge of all aspects of event business and catering business
  • Daily office organization of all desks and warehouse support in organization
  • Timely paperwork and responses
  • Proper care of assets and packaging with renting or sending to job sites
  • Communication with Sales team for upcoming events, pulls, decor, event schedule and production
  • Tracking all products and charging events
  • Event coordination with sales team, with assistance in running with set up/breakdown, training call leads and event captains, complete running of all events
  • Creative concepts and rental tool development (i.e new buffet set ups & special projects)
  • Work events as needed
  • Staff training and standardizing skills and settings of ALL event positions
  • Supervise coordination and police of all rental invoices and jobs, including personnel with primary focus on event leads and supers
  • Help operations manager maintain inventory, with cost and loss from events
  • Policy/procedure development and enforcement of all assets and avenues of event production
  • Develop and maintain cleaning and facility checklist
  • Maintain and audit checklist program, daily and monthly
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings, develop meeting schedule
  • Work with Cutshaw staff to assist with upkeep of all assets
  • Develop and audit end of event sheets and responsibility listing
  • Maintain all Mosaic vehicles (clean, maintenance, paperwork, and legal needs)\
  • Teach and train all MOSAIC staff to adhere to all MOSAIC policies and standards
  • Training key associates on all events necessary, running events, support and training, develop training program and teach and set up with captains and supervisors
